Have you had art lessons?
Nope...Never had art lessons of
any kind. Just kinda drew in my spare time to learn.
What is it that you draw and ink
with? Special pens? Magical markers from Jupiter?
I draw with an average mechanical
pencil, and I ink with almost anything around the house. However, I do
tend to make use of various pens of different ink thicknesses, they are
felt tipped, and range in tip size from 0.05 mm to 0.8 mm. Still I will
use a cheap crappy pen from around the house and it will practically look
the same anyways. The only difference I pay attention to is if the pen
is acidic or not..non acidic pens tend not to bleed out ,and make yer inking
lines look more precise.
What do you color with? Super duper
crayons?
Well I don't post everything I
draw, but most of what is posted on my site is coloured with Adobe Photoshop.
I do use other mediums however, which are watercolour, coloured pencils,
and screentones. Occasionally a pic or two coloured in those mediums may
appear on my site, but if it looks CG coloured, then it is done with Photoshop.
Why don't you post everything you
do? I think I have a right to see everything you do, damnit!
Well, I simply do not wish to show
everything I do. Sometimes I want art that is just for myself and my close
friends. As pertaining to selling my comics, if I choose to sell copies
widely I will announce it on my page...currently I am working on my own
comics, and a large comic production with the rest of the Annoying Four
(Ora, WW, and Tetra) that will be in production for some time, but when
close to sales release, an announcement will be made.
Do
you do pics by request?
I do commissions. For those of
you who do not know ,it is a paid request. I charge for pics. Interested
and want to discuss? Drop me an email. Why do I charge? Well, it is paying
for the service...the time and effort involved, and since it is not something
I would normally decide to draw of my own free will, the payment is the
compensation, plus art is part of my business. Also on the note of commissions,
is the pic auction I present as well. Any questions, feel free to drop
me a line!
How come you don't always reply
to my email right away? Why aren't you always available to chat online?
Here is the deal, eh. I would love
to have the time to answer every email promptly that I receive and chat
with people all the time. Hearing what people have to say, and so on is
what helps keep me going, but the reality of the matter is my time for
leisure is slim. I try to answer email often and promptly as i can, but
there will be times where I simply cannot. I receive a lot of email per
day, and am sometimes too busy to answer it all, though I do try. Some
people get the impression that I am rude, as I haven't been able to answer
their email..i do ask that if you don't get a reply after a certain length
of time ,do try again..sometimes things get mixed up, or again I just didn't
have the time. With all the work I do and my agenda full as it is, I can't
get to everything all the time. Thanx.
Why is your page so simple looking
and not full of flashy wonderful pictures to make it look interesting?
The reason for this is simple.
When designing my site, I wanted it to look professional, and to the point.
It is an art site, not a contender for flashiest most attractive site ;).
I also try to keep the load time down...as I know a lot of people deal
with the load time for the pics they want to see enough to have to wait
for the site itself to load for al ong time as well.
Why do you have those evil violent
comics and pics so full of violent violence that is violent?
My range of art is rather large
in scale..I go from cute and funny , to dramatic, to violent and oddly
spazzed out. On the comics that have blood and profanity, I posted a warning.
However, the pics sections do not have warning, so do view my page at your
own risk. If it offends you, simply do not view it..! I personally am a
fan of dark humour..and if you can't take a joke..well that is a shame,
but I respect your opinions. I do not however , like censorship so I do
not censer my work from violence or profanity. I do not, however, draw
or show porn related art- I simply don't like that therefore I won't draw
it either.
Why don't you update on a regular
basis, or as often as you used to?
Well , I am busy with my life.
I do graphic work as a job now among my other work, and I try to get out
and enjoy life, as it is too short to be sitting around all day. My page
is not my main priority, so updating it is not my main concern- although
I shall update it. There have been times when I have moved, like my latest
move where the site went without update for over 2 months, however that
shall be avoided if possible. Keep in mind though, the internet and my
page are not a much a part of my life as my art in general and my friends,
work, and life itself are, so if business and such delay an update, well..that's
life. I work hard in areas of a larger priority...don't get me wrong though,
I want to maintain this page well. I will aim at monthly to month and a
half updates or so, just not a regular times basis.
Can I use one (or more) of your
characters for my comic/story/RP use/firewood/toilet paper design/etc..?
If you wish to use one or more
of my characters in a story you are writing, comic, or such, please ask
my permission, as I would do the same were I wishing to make use of one
of your creations in one of my works. I do not allow others to use my characters
for RP purposes though. If you have questions regarding other areas of
my characters, feel free to drop me an email.
I have a question that I think would
be useful to have asked and answered on this page...what should I do?
